Featured Crops (sorghum)
Exhibitor: Seed Improvement and Propagation Station of Council of Agriculture Activities: The Station has been producing Taichung No. 5 sorghum seeds for Kinmen for years and is an important cornerstone for the development of Kinmen’s sorghum liquor industry. This year, the planting of sorghum covers 16 hectares. The area shows the true look of the event organizer’s agricultural production, allowing visitors to get close to this unique crop.
Exhibitor: Council for Hakka Affairs, Taichung City Government Activities: Skillfully combine phonographs and flowers based on the concept of “listening to the sound of flowers”. It feels as if beautiful melodies flow from the blooms of flowers, creating an imagery of the southern end of the Provincial Highway 3. The unique characteristics of “Satoyama guest houses and Taichung’s flowers and fruits” are combined with Hakka buildings, depicting the slower-pace lifestyle along the Provincial Highway 3.
