■Highway

◆From Miaoli or north: Due to the closure of Fengyuan section on National Highway No. 4, please exit at Sanyi Interchange on National Highway No. 1. Drive along Jianfeng Road (Provincial Highway No. 13), pass County Highway No. 140 and connect to Provincial Highway No. 3; after driving across Dongshi Bride, turn left and follow County Highway No. 129 to Xinshe. You can reach the exhibition area for Sea of Flowers along the sign post. (To avoid traffic jam on holidays, use Provincial Highway No. 3 to Dongshi Riverside Park and take the shuttle bus.)

◆From central or south area- Transit to Provincial Highway No. 74 from National Highway No. 1 or National Highway No. 3 and leave the highway at Taiyuan Road Exit; follow Sec. 3 Taiyuan Road and pass Buzu Road heading towards Zhongxingling. You can reach the exhibition area for Sea of Flowers along the sign post. (You can drive along Sec. 2 Taiyuan Road to Taiyuan Car Park located at Sec. 1 Jianhe Road to take shuttle bus on the weekday and holidays.)

 

Provincial Highway No. 3

◆From Miaoli or north driving south, pass Zhuolan and Dongshi, and turn left after Dongshi Bridge; drive along County Highway No. 129 to Xinshe and you can reach the exhibition area for Sea of Flowers along the sign post.

 

■Taichung City center

◆Drive along Dongshan Road in Beitun District, pass through Dakeng to Zhongxingling, and you can reach the exhibition area for Sea of Flowers along the sign post.

 

■Car park for small vehicles

◆Sea-of-Flowers temporary car park P1 (small vehicles and motorcycles)

◆Sea-of-Flowers temporary car park P2 and P3 (only for small vehicles)

◆Jiuqugou Landscape Detention Pond car park (disabled and family-friendly car park); outer part of the road can be used for bicycles.

◆Zhongxingling Military Camp car park (opening hours: 07:00-18:00)

◆Xinshe High School car park (open on holidays)

◆Road along Fusheng Park

◆Xinshe District Office

◆Dakeng Jingpuku car park

◆Taiyuan car park (No. 9, Sec. 1 Jianhe Road, Beitun District, Taichung City)

 

Relevant traffic control measures

Controlling hours:

From November 9th to December 1st, 2019 (23 days in total); 8:30 am to 4:30 pm every day

Traffic control measures:

Car-free zone (no vehicle access from 8 am to 8 pm)

Section at Xiexing Street (the whole section from Miaopu Bridge to the vehicle entrance of Sea of Flowers Shuttle Bus Station)

Section at Xingyi Street (within the area of Sea of Flowers)

Section at Xiexing Street near Huafeng Street (pedestrian wooden path in the area of Sea of Flowers)

 

One-way traffic control and type of vehicle control

One-way traffic control at Xingzhong Street (direction from Dongshan Street to Xiezhong Street) from 8 am to 6 pm. (The left lane is used as dedicated lane for shuttle bus on holidays.)

Section at Xiexing Street from Xingzhong Street to Miaopu Bridge and the section of turning to the car park for small vehicles from Miaopu Bridge implement one-way traffic control and no access for large vehicles from 8 am to 6 pm.

One-way traffic control is implemented at Huafeng Street (from Xingzhong Street to Xiexing Street) as the dedicated lane for shuttle bus during weekday and weekend from 8 am to 8 pm.

One-way traffic control is implemented on Xingyi Street from car park for Sea of Flowers to Xiezhong Street from 8 am to 8 pm.

One-way traffic control is implemented on the road next to the detention pond (direction from Miaopu Bridge to Xingzhong Street) from 8 am to 8 pm.

 

Weight limitation (section that carries out separation engineering for Jiuqugou Detention Pond)

Sec. 2, Dongshan Road (junction of Shuijing Street to Zhongxingling) only allows access of vehicles with weight below 35 tons.

Dongshan Street (Xinshe Zhongxingling Post Office to the bus stop in front of the campe site) only allows access of vehicles with weight below 35 tons.
